Q: I see a property I want to rent. What's the next step?

A: If it's available near the time you are coming to town, the next step is to fill out a credit/employment application. There is a $45 dollar processing fee to run this application. Once the application has been processed and approved we will send you the lease for your review and signature. It's a quick and simple process. The application can be emailed or faxed to you and we should have the results within one or two days from receiving it.

Q: Are there any additional fees aside from the rent?

A: There are two additional fees with all rentals. There is a $45 credit application fee, up front prior to renting a property. There is also a final move-out cleaning fee. The cleaning fee varies by the size of the property, but we will be able to quote that for you prior to starting the lease process.

Q: Do you accept pets? 

A: Some properties do. We're trying to update the ones that allow pets, but you may want to call or email your request so we can notify you which ones allow pets. PLEASE NOTE: There is a one-time non-refundable pet deposit of $250 for all of our properties that allow pets.

Q: What is the minimum length of stay?

A: Most properties have a 30- or 60-day minimum stays. There are a few that have a 3-month minimum and others with a 6 month minimum. If the minimums is greater than 30 days, it will be listed on the home page.

Q: What does "Under Negotiation" next to the property listing mean?

A: It means that someone has submitted and paid for their credit application and is in the process of sending in their signed lease. From time to time people find other housing during this time frame and this property may be back available for rent. However "under negotiation" typically means it is just a few days from being fully rented.

Q: What does "Availability Undetermined - Month to Month" next to the property listing mean?

A: Sometimes tenants wish to extend their stay beyond their initial lease term. When this happens, the date of availability is undetermined because they are not certain when their last day at the property will be.

Q: I want to rent a property later in the year that is available now, can I reserve it?

A: Unfortunately, since we rent our properties in chronological order, we can not reserve it for you. We encourage you to email us or fill out the 'Submit request' form so we can contact you if a property becomes available that fits your size, location, price and timeframe needs.

Q: I have a propery I want to rent through your company, what do I need to do?

A: Please call 202-787-1885 and press number extension #3, to discuss the features of renting your property as a furnished corporate rental.
